The Northern California Community Blood Bank is a locally rooted nonprofit that has served the North Coast for more than 75 years.
Who we are
Local blood. Local lives.
We are an independent, community-based nonprofit. We put local patients first — keeping care close to home for our neighbors, first responders, and families across Humboldt and Del Norte counties.
Like every blood center in the country, we rely on volunteer donors — blood for transfusion in the United States comes from people who give freely, not for pay. Our supply depends entirely on the generosity of neighbors who give their time and their blood to save lives.
